Position YouTube TV as the leader of living room entertainment
YouTube TV is a streaming television service that offers on-demand video, a cloud-based DVR, and live TV from more than 85 networks.
When it first launched, a low price point and thoughtful mobile experience helped differentiate it from other television providers.
YouTube TV’s go-to-market strategy asserted that users would primarily consume content via YouTube TV’s mobile app, but analytics soon revealed the majority of watch time happened in the living room, an experience that had been de-prioritized.
We developed a distinct design approach that emphasized content and helped users relish in their fandom. Fluid transitions created seamlessness between screens and immersed users in an elevated watch experience.
